<br />page two - City Council <br />meeting minutes - <br />May 25, 1983 <br /> <br />was held on signs being placed by ballfield advising people <br />where to park - NOT ON LAVALLE DRIVE. Motion by Zimny, second <br />by Wilharber to grant 3.2 beer permit to John Searles for <br />softball tournmament Saturday and Sunday, July 30 and 31, 1983, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk advised council a representative from Lions Club <br />would be at the June 22nd meeting requesting two 3.2 beer <br />permits. <br /> <br />Councilman Wilharber referred to story in Circulating Pines <br />concerning appearance of Dave Torkildson at Lino Lakes City <br />Council meeting for discussion on the Chain of Lakes Park <br />Reserve. Councilman Wilharber, requested clerk to ask our <br />Commissioner Langfeld, a representative from the Sheriff's <br />office and Mr. Torkildson to attend a council meeting to <br />discuss the same subject. <br /> <br />Councilman Wilharber advised council that he would not be <br />attending the June 9 and 23rd joint powers task force meetings <br />in Lino Lakes and Centerville; he would like an alternate <br />to attend in his place. He will also be absent from the <br />June 22nd council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny for City of Centerville <br />to enter into the Anoka County Job Training Center Employer <br />Agreement for 1983 Summer Youth Employment Program, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to pay claims, motion <br />carried. Copy of current receipts and disbursements is attached <br />to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to adjourn meeting, <br />motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 9:30 PM. <br /> <br />
