<br />page two - City Council <br />meeting minutes - <br />April 27, 1983 <br /> <br />Motion by Zimny, second by Baumann approving the proclamation <br />recognizing the clerk's accomplishments and the upcoming week <br />of May 8 - 24 designated as Municipal Clerk's Week, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Clerk advised council that request for the 4.9 acre sewer <br />extension for Peltier Lake Hills Addition #2 has been approved <br />by the Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />Gregory Bernier, 1751 Peltier Lake Drive, Centerville, appeared <br />before the council wi th request for variance to Ordinanee,,#4 <br />request due to side yard setback requirements being ten (10) <br />feet and Mr. Bernier's setback for garage will be nine (9) <br />inches short. Mr. Bernier's garage dimensions are 34 x 28 feet. <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to grant variance to <br />Ordinance #4, TABLE B-SCHEDULE OF DISTRICT REGULATIONS, LOT <br />AND YARD REQUIREMENTS - R-2 Single Family Residential (sewered), <br />side yard requirements, motion carried. (one councilmember <br />oppo sed) . <br /> <br />Discussion was held on Harvey Cartier having Randy Lauderbaugh <br />ride with him in the snow plow truck on April 14. Motion by <br />Zimny, second by Baumann to compensate Randy Lauderbaugh $6.00 <br />an hour for the 3! hour time, motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Baumann, second by Zimny to pay current claims, <br />motion carried. Copy of current receipts and disbursements <br />is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Bernard Henrich requested council to issue a special use permit <br />for him to operate a small engine repair shop out of his garage. <br />Council recommended Mr. Henrich read Ordinance #4 for procedure <br />and attend P & Z meeting for advisement. <br /> <br />Motion by Baumann, second by Wilharber to adjourn meeting, <br />motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 9:15 PM. <br /> <br />
