<br />page two - City Council <br />meeting minutes - <br />June 1), 1984 <br /> <br />(g) Hal Leibel has been authorized as a Park Ranger and <br />has a key for the entrance to the park. This should eliminate <br />or assist in eliminating some of the problems concerned with <br />the gate. <br />(h) Protection, No real answers were returned to us on <br />protection for the park. After camping starts (maybe fall <br />of this year) a person with radio and phone will be in the <br />park on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. A park ranger <br />unit will be available to assist and these people can make <br />citizen arrests. This matter should be addressed further. <br /> <br />Rich Granger and Jim Husnick appeared before council <br />with preliminary sketch of Peltier Lake Hills #2 which <br />the P & Z had looked at on the 5th of June. Mr. Granger <br />and Husnick asked the council if they felt this addition <br />was feasible. No real concerns voiced by council and Mr. <br />Granger was to check with clerk on holding public hearing <br />on development at next P & Z meeting. <br /> <br />Fire Chief has advised council that the Bean Fire Truck <br />is out of service and the city has requested the services <br />of the Ford fire truck from Circle Pines if the need <br />arises. Motion by Ayers, second by Baumann to enter into <br />lease agrement with the City of Circle Pines for use of <br />their 1956 Ford fire pumper while the Bean fire truck <br />is out of service, motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk will advise fire chief of first task force meeting <br />between Circle Pines, Lino Lakes and Centerville on Wednesday, <br />June 27th, at 61)0 PM in the Lino Lakes City Hall. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Baumann to grant a ).2 beer <br />permit to Twin Lakes II softball team for a softball <br />tournament on Saturday and Sunday, August 18 and 19, 1984 <br />at the Twin Lakes ballfield, motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk is to check with Jim Dupre, party fixing city <br />streets, on Thursday morning to find out the approximate <br />costs on road repair done so far. <br /> <br />Motion by Baumann, second by Ayers to pay current claims, <br />motion carried. A copy of current receipts and disbursements <br />is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Tom Wilharber informed council he will not be attending <br />the council meetings in July. <br /> <br />Motion by Baumann, second by Ayers to adjourn meeting, <br />motion carried.
