<br />Page two - City Council <br />lVIee ting Minu te s <br />December 12, 1984 <br /> <br />Larry Winner, Carley ~ngineering, will be at the next council <br />meeting to make a presentation on the 509 Task Force. <br /> <br />The Park and Recreation Committee will be purchasing a new <br />snow blower. Harvey will work with the rink attendants to <br />be sure they are operating it correctly. A rink attendant <br />must be 18 years or older to operate the snow blower. <br /> <br />CI~k will request satellites be delivered December 21st. <br /> <br />Three additional keys to the Hall will be made for the rink <br />attendants. <br /> <br />Rink attendants will be paid every two weeks. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: Presentation by Patricia Weber, representative <br />from Rudy Boschwich's office. <br /> <br />Resignation letters from Planming and Zoning Chairman Walter <br />Prachar, and Planning and Zoning member Robert LaMotte were <br />read by the clerk. Thank you letters will be sent to them -,' <br />for their many years of service. <br /> <br />Discussion on Sunrise Plastics, Inc. It was decided a special <br />use permit is needed by the company to operate. Some suggestions <br />to the Planning and Zoning Committee for specific requirements <br />to be stated in the special use permit were; adequate <br />screening, move grinder inside, and Mr. Brokke's letter. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Zimny to send a letter to Sunrise <br />Plastics, Inc. stating it's our understanding they will be at <br />the January Planning and Zoning meeting, and that continued <br />operation is contingent upon their application and receipt <br />of a special use permit, motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk will write a letter to Mr. Barrott, 7105 Main Street, <br />requesting he remove the concrete structure he has built <br />on city property with in two weeks. <br /> <br />Harvey will buy new ceiling tiles. <br /> <br />Clerk will write a letter to 1540 Peltier Lake Drive to clean <br />up their yard by 6-1-85. <br /> <br />Clerk will write a letter to Dale Larson verifying he is interested <br />in being Civil Defense Director for Centerville. <br /> <br />Clerk will notify Lake Sanitation to pass the landfill abatement <br />tax on to the consumer. <br /> <br />Clerk will send letter to Royal Meadows allowing street light <br />installation in the spring of 1985 as long as it doesn't <br />extend their development contract. <br /> <br />Motion by Baumann, second by Zimny to pay current claims, <br />motion carried. Copy of current receipts and disbursements <br />is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Ayers to adjourn,meeting, <br />motion carried.
