Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Centerville held its regular meeting on December 28, 1988 at City Hall. Mayor L~Allier called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. Present: Fritchie, Wilharber, Burgstahler and Neumann. Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann, the December 12, 1988 special unanimously, to approve the minutes of meeting, motion carried Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann, to approve the minutes of the December 14, 1988 regular meeting with two corrections: pg. 5, para. 5 - that the list presented to the Council of past accomplishments be amended BO that number 5 of the list will indicate that the Pole Building Ordinance was a Moratorium Ordinance, and pg. 6, para. 4 - Newsletter #88-74 will be amended to read Newsletter #88-4. motion carried unanimously. Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann, to approve the minutes of the December 20, 1988 special Meeting. Aye: Fritchie, Burgstahler, L'Allier and Neumann. Abstain: Wilharber. Motion by Fritchie, second by Wilharber to approve the minutes of the December 14, 1988 special meeting, motion carried unanimously. OLD BUSINESS Motion by Burgstahler, second by Fritchie, to table discussion of fill in the floodway at 7007 -20th Avenue South until such time that a meeting can take place between the property owner, the property owner~ attorney, the City attorney, the DNR, and other City representatives as deemed appropriate, to discuss the alternatives of the situation, motion carried unanimously. Motion by Burgstahler, second by Wilharber, to approve Ordinance ~33-A) as amended by the City Attorney, and to also approve summary of Ordinance 133-A, (Flood Plain Ordinance), contingent upon receipt of a written response from the Dept, of Natural Resources, motion carried unanimously. Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann, to approve Personnel Ordinance #22-B Summary, motion carried unanimously. Motion by Burgstahler, second by Fritchie, to direct the City Clerk to obtain the necessary easement for Lift Station ~3 in Center Oaks II, for payment of not more than $500.00; the City plans to recover the $500.00 from the developer once the bond issues for Center Oaks II have been resolved, motion carried unanimously.
