<br />CC Meeting Minutes <br />Page four <br />August 10, 1988 <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Neumann to direct the City Clerk to <br />insert a poll into the outgoing newsletter in which residents <br />will be asked to give input to City Hall or the City Council <br />members regarding satisfaction of the Lino Lakes Police <br />Department, and/or the possibility of a Centerville Police <br />Department, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Burgstahler to direct the City Clerk <br />to meet with the Lino Lakes City Administrator to address <br />concerns of the Centerville Council regarding: <br />-#11 in the contract (wording which directs Lino Lakes to <br />give preference to calls in Lino Lakes versus <br />Centerville) , <br />-the date budget information is receive, <br />-the possibility of a police commission, <br />-the possibility of one officer assigned to Centerville <br />during specific time periods, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Wilharber to strike the definition <br />of "Street-Right-of-Way" in the proposed amendments to Ordinance <br />#4, as approved at the July 27, 1988 meeting; said amendments <br />have not yet been published, thus are not of official record as <br />of this date, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS <br />Council member Neumann noted that appropriate bars are not across <br />the sewer opening to date. Public Works Director advised that <br />they are working on this. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Wilharber to allow City Clerk <br />and any Council member who would like to participate, to attend <br />the League of Minnesota Cities Regional Meeting in New Brighten <br />on September 12, 1988; the cost being $12.00 per person, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Burgstahler to approve Newsletter <br />#88-3 August 1988, with the insertion that the August 17, 1988 <br />budget meeting place be identified and that a ~oll regarding <br />police protection be added, motion earried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to adopt Resolution #88- <br />50 for hearing on the proposed assessment of Short Street Sewer <br />Extension Municipal Improvement #88-1 for September 14, 1988, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann to place future watering <br />ban ordinance on the pending agenda for October, with regard to <br />th~ municipal water system, motion carried unanimously. <br />
