<br />CC Meeting Minutes <br />Page seven <br />July 27, 1988 <br /> <br />Discussion of striping a walkway for school children along <br />Progress Road between Main Street and Westview Street. Council <br />member Fritchie noted that she is concerned about the safety of <br />the children, but felt that the school should have expressed <br />their intentions to have the City maintain the striping when the <br />original project was completed by the school. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann that the City of <br />Centerville will take over the maintenance of the striping of a <br />walkway on Progress Road between Main Street and Westview Street, <br />aye: Burgstahler, Neumann, Wilharber, L'Allier; nay: Fritchie. <br /> <br />Council member Neumann will research the cost of signs and <br />possibly one way streets in the area of the school. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Fritchie to adopt Resolution <br />#88-48 to implement a rotating City Council Liaison to go to the <br />Centerville Economic Development Task Force meeting, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Fritchie to adopt Resolution #88-49 <br />that no footing inspections will be done by the Building <br />Inspector until the property address is displayed on the property <br />that can be clearly viewed from the street, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann to make the current <br />payment of claims, except for the $650 check to LeRoy Houle for <br />removal of two trees on City right-of-way, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann to direct City Clerk to <br />contact City Engineer for an estimate on the damage done to <br />Progress Road by LeRoy Houle during the removal of two trees on <br />City right-of-way, the Clerk will then contact Mr. Houle <br />regarding cost of repair, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />by Neumann to adjourn the meeting, <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:50 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />~~ ~7JtIt. <br /> <br />Tamara M.
