Two tickets per shift
would generate $35,000 per year.
-For court appearances, Chief would stay in Centerville
until City Attorney called to say when his presence is
necessary.
-Tim Ross lives 17 miles from Centerville.
-Reserve officer would be set up.
-People will become more involved with Crime Watch if they
have their own police force.
-A contract is needed for mutual aid. There is no cost fot
this.
-Police Chief would also be the Police Clerk.
-A second squad car would be a good idea. This could cost
from $2,000 to $4,000.
-Reserve officer could transport an offender to Anoka County
in the used squad. Reserve would only be used in
routine situations. Reserve would not be using red
lights or sirens.
-A civic organization could be asked to donate oxygen
equipment.
-There should be no problem working with Lino Lakes with
regard to mutual aid. If an officer needs help, any
other officer would have no problem responding. Also,
if Ross were to get the position of Chief, his brother
works as an officer in Lino Lakes.
-If Ross were chosen as the Chief, he feels that he is
qualified to train a rookie officer.
-Many departments only offer benefits
after a certain period of time.
require the new officers to
uniforms, to be reimbursed after
time.

to their officers
Some cities also
purchase their own
a certain period of
