<br />CC Meeting Minutes <br />Page five <br />December 28, 1988 <br /> <br />cul-de-sacs, <br />- then the plow goes out and widens and cleans up the <br />streets, <br />- the plow will go out and sand if the streets are icy, <br />- plow will go out to try to remove slush from the streets <br />if it looks like that slush will freeze and cause a <br />dangerous condition. <br /> <br />Council member Wilharber noted that it is important to let the <br />Public Works Director make the decision and that if the City <br />Council is not happy with those decisions it should then address <br />policy. City Clerk will put the City snow plowing policy on <br />Channel #16. <br /> <br />Carol Pelton, Chairperson of the Park and Recreation Committee, <br />advised that the rink will not be able to be opened on January 1, <br />1989, as previously scheduled. She noted contractor delays and <br />advised that the public will be notified on Cable Channel #16 <br />when the rinks are operational. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann, to make the current <br />payment of claims, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />City Clerk presented plaques to outgoing Council members <br />Wilharber and Fritchie, and to Mayor L'Allier. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Burgstahler, to adjourn the <br />meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />~~1lJ~~,d~ <br /> <br />Tamara M.
