<br />Meeting Minutes <br />Page Seven <br />July 13, 1988 <br /> <br />this matter. Gay further elaborated that all costs and liability <br />for the equipment would be absorbed by Anoka County. <br /> <br />Engineer Stewart advised that an outside box attached to the <br />current pumphouse building would be preferred. He sited problems <br />in that it is often difficult to work around an extra building <br />with regard to underground piping and utilities. He also noted <br />that more than one building on the site would appear unsightly <br />and not conducive to the park atmosphere. Stewart advised that <br />he has seen other cities use outside boxes versus buildings. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann to agree in concept to <br />placement of communication antenna on the Centerville municipal <br />water tower; contingent upon Chief Gays investigation of the <br />placement of a box on the current building versus a second <br />building to house necessary equipment; also contingent upon the <br />response of Max Thompson of Cellular I as to the reasoning for <br />interference on the Cellular I tower, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann to table proposed <br />Ordinance #22A implementing the position of Clerk/Administrator <br />versus Clerk/Treasurer until full Council is present, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Wilharber to reject Resolution #88- <br />45 Identifying Administration of Paid Holidays for City <br />Employees, as these items will be addressed in a future Personnel <br />Ordinance, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Wilharber to seek the services of <br />Floyd Laska to cut roadside and neglected lot tall grass and <br />weeds; contingent upon City Attorney opinion as to the acceptable <br />level of insurance, and possible liability of the City; Clerk <br />will contact Laska to see if he has liability insurance on <br />himself, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Wilharber to direct City Clerk to <br />pursue collection of escrow monies due and delinquent assessments <br />from Keith Harstad for the Centerville Heights development, under <br />the guidance of the City Attorney, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Wilharber to direct City Clerk to <br />write a letter to Harstad Companies to obtain exact dates that <br />the remaining work will be completed on Centerville Heights; the <br />letter will be sent by certified mail, carbon copies to Merila <br />and Associates, Inc., motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />A letter dated July 13, 1988 from Merila and Associates, Inc. <br />outlines work remaining on Centerville Heights, but does not <br />include specific dates.
