<br />CC Meeting Minutes <br />Page Nine <br />July 13, 1988 <br /> <br />the Centerville Lions Club for their Annual Steak Fry to be held <br />Sunday, July 17, 1988; due to the valuable local service provided <br />by the Lions Club, the fee for this permit shall be waived; <br />however the required $200 damage deposit must be submitted by the <br />Lions Club, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Discussion of an illegal sewer tile west of Goiffon Avenue and <br />south of Sorel Street. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Wilharber to direct the City Clerk <br />to write a letter to all persons who could possibly be hooked up <br />to the sewer tile west of Goiffon Avenue and south of Sorel <br />Street to notify them that the tile will be plugged within 10 <br />days; these letters will be hand delivered, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann to table recommendations <br />of the Planning and Zoning Commission for amendments to Ordinance <br />#4 (Zoning Ordinance) until a 4/5 vote is possible, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann to meet with Bill Bruen, <br />Centennial Fire District Chairperson to discuss the Centennial <br />Fire District Master Plan, per Bruen's request on July 27, 1988 <br />at 6:00 p.m., motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Discussion of the possibility of Centerville purchasing <br />Centerville's original fire truck from the Centennial Fire <br />District. Chief Gay advised that bids for the truck will be <br />taken, giving Centerville first option. It was agreed by the <br />Council members that this item would also be discussed when <br />Chairperson Bruen meets with the Council. <br /> <br />Clerk recommended that the City <br />restrictions in Centerville as <br />to the 1988 drought conditions. <br />Council that this was a mute <br />further discussion. <br /> <br />Council enact voluntary water <br />a show of support and recognition <br />It was the consensus of the <br />issue as it is unenforceable. No <br /> <br />Randy Lauderbaugh, District Fire Marshall advised that <br />Centerville is in need of a definition of a recreational fire. <br />Lauderbaugh will submit recommended definitions at a future City <br />Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann to make the current <br />payment of claims, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />by Neumann to adjourn the meeting, <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:50 p.m. <br />
