Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting on May 25, 1988. Mayor L'Allier called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present: Fritchie, Neumann, Wilharber, and Burgstahler. Motion by Neumann, second by Fritchie to accept the minutes of the May 11, 1988 meeting with the following corrections: -page 1, paragraph 1, amend - "the City Council held its regular meeting April 27, 1988" to - "the City Council held its regular meeting May 11, 1988" -page 1, paragraph 2, amend - "April 13, 1988 meeting" to read - "April 27, 1988 meeting" -page 3, paragraph 1, amend - "the following lot" to "the following lot in Center Oaks II", motion carried unanimously. Motion by Wilharber, second the May 17, 1988 Board of unanimously. by Neumann to accept the minutes of Review meeting, motion carried Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to accept the minutes of the May 24, 1988 special meeting regarding City/deve16per installed improvements, motion carried unanimously. OLD BUSINESS Discussion of Kenco Convenience Store/Car Wash. Of concern the hours that the store would stay open. It was noted Trippel's Market is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Roessler, representative of Kenco Construction advised Council that the store would only ask to be open 24 hours if it would be of service to the community to do so. Roessler noted that the person seeking to lease the store like to be open from 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. were that Kent the a day Mr. would Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to approve the lot split of: that part of the East 246.44 feet, as measured at right angled, of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 31, Range 22, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying North of a line described as commencing at the Northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence South along the East line thereof for 310.89 feet to the actual point of beginning of the line to be hereby described; thence deflect 90 degrees 58 minutes 00 seconds to the right in a Westerly direction for 246.48 feet, more or less, to intersect with and terminate at the West line of said East 246.44 feet, from Lot 9, Block 12 City of Centerville; -with the following justification: -it meets the intent of the Comprehensive Plan, platting of separated parcel would cause undo hardship to the developer, -that the lot is not a substandard lot;
