<br />CC Meeting Minutes <br />page seven <br />December 14, 1988 <br /> <br />require that owners of apartment buildings with more than two <br />units shall have a bin on said premises, the size/capacity to be <br />determined by the garbage collection contractor; contingent upon <br />City Attorney review, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann~ second by Wilharber to approve a permit to the <br />Anoka County 4-H Shooting Sports for a Target Range Permit for <br />pellet rifles and pellet pistols, with a disclaimer releasing the <br />City of Centerville from any liability; contingent upon City <br />Attorney review, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie that per the <br />recommendation of the Park and Recreation Committee, to approve <br />the appointments of Dan Kupfer, 1761 Center Street and Lisa <br />Smith, 6936 Ivy Court to the Park and Recreation Committee <br />through January 31, 1989, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Wilharber that per the <br />recommendation of the Park and Recreation Committee to approve <br />the hiring of Jeremy Ardvison, Chad Liebel, and David Chu as rink <br />attendants for the 1988-1989 skating season, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Discussion of proposed swapping of snow plowing of some City <br />streets with Lino Lakes. The proposal was initiated by the City <br />of Lino Lakes. The streets to be swapped are Mound Trail and <br />Mill Road north of Peltier Lake Drive (in Centerville) for <br />LaMotte Drive and the streets in Lakeview Place (in Lino Lakes). <br />Concerns expressed by the Council were: <br />-difference in mailbox replacement policies, <br />-question of how to handle complaints, <br />-time frame of the plowing of the streets, <br />-Lakeview Place (development in Lino Lakes) streets only <br />have one lift and have not been accepted by Lino Lakes, <br />-City liability on Lino Lakes streets, <br />-City Attorney recommendation that Centerville obtain a <br />written agreement with Lino Lakes, <br />-City Attorney recommendation that Lino Lakes obtain for <br />Centerville a release of liability from the developer <br />of Lakeview Place. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie that <br />-the City of Centerville will not swap snow plowing of City <br />streets with Lino Lakes; <br />-the City of Centerville will plow only their own streets; <br />-the City of Centerville will turn around on LaMotte Drive <br />at the Central Park entrance; <br />-the City of Centerville will consider a swap of the end of <br />Mound Trail in Lino Lakes for the section of Mill Road <br />north of Peltier Lake Drive, <br />
