<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held a public hearing on November 21, 1988 at <br />City Hall. The purpose of the hearing was to hear all persons <br />regarding the repeal of Ordinance #33 (Flood Plain) and adoption <br />of Ordinance #33-A (Flood Plain revision). Mayor L'Allier called <br />the hearing to order at 7:03 p.m. Present: Fritchie, Wilharber, <br />Burgstahler, Neumann. <br /> <br />It was noted that it would be the City's responsibility to <br />prosecute violations to the Ordinance. <br /> <br />Possible amendments were discussed: <br />Section 2.817 - <br />Amend to: Flood Frin~e - that portion of the flood <br />plain outside of the floodway. That area of land <br />encompassed between 100 and 500 year flood <br />frequency. Flood fringe is synonymous with the <br />term "floodway fringe" used in the Flood Insurance <br />Study for the City of Centerville. <br /> <br />Section 2.820 - <br />Amend to: Floodwav - the bed of a wetland or lake and <br />the channel of a watercourse and those portions of <br />the adjoining flood plain which are reasonably <br />required to carry or store the regional flood <br />discharge. Those lands covered by the 100 year <br />flood. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Burgstahler to adjourn, motion <br />carried unanimously. Hearing adjourned 7:16 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held their regular meeting on November 21, <br />1988 at City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the meeting to order at <br />7:17 p.m. Present: Fritchie, Wilharber, Burgstahler, Neumann. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Wilharber to accept the minutes <br />of the October 18, 1988 meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Burgstahler to accept the minutes <br />of the October 24, 1988 meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Fritchie to accept the minutes of <br />the November 9, 1988 meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Wilharber to direct the Clerk to <br />write a letter to Kent Roessler of Kenco Construction to inform <br />him that the City is still waiting the $55,120 maintenance bond <br />and that he should obtain the necessary easement for Station #3; <br />in view of all of the circumstances that surround the details of <br />Center Oaks II, if the above is not taken care of by December 14, <br />1988, the City of Centerville will reconsider Kenco <br />
