<br />Minutes CC <br />page two <br />November 21, 1988 <br /> <br />Construction's contractors license to operate within the City, <br />aye; Wilharber, L~Allier, Neumann, Burgstahler; nay: Fritchie. <br /> <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, advised that Lift Station #3 has <br />been rewired to single phase pumps. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Wilharber to authorize the City <br />Clerk to work with the City Attorney to draw on Letter of Credit <br />#220 with the City of Centerville for the L'Allier Estates II <br />development in the amount of $13,237.50, <br />-if by November 28, 1988 the City has not received either a <br />maintenance bond in the amount of $37,460 or written <br />assurance from Gerry Parent and Alan Boeke (Parent's <br />insurance agent) that said bond will be issued, and <br />-if the City has not received a check from Parent to cover <br />boulevard trees and the remaining items on the City <br />Engineers punch list in an amount equal to 150% of the <br />value of said items, <br />-it is estimated that the trees will cost approximately <br />$30.00 each, and the City Public Works Director <br />will go out to the development to determine which <br />lots are wooded; <br />-the City will waive the requirement of boulevard trees <br />on the wooded lots in the L'Allier Estates II <br />development; <br />if all of the above are received by the City by the November 28, <br />1988 deadline, Letter of Credit #220 will be allowed to expire on <br />November 30, 1988, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to waive quarterly sewer <br />billings for the Central Park building, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Discussion of the Central Park building. <br /> <br />Gerry LeTendre, Park and Recreation Committee member noted that <br />to finish the floor and the rough in plumbing it would require an <br />additional $3,000. He felt that some of the payments could be <br />put off until January 1, 1989, and that at that time monies could <br />be borrowed by the Park from the 1989 Park budget monies, until <br />July 1989 when fund raisers could be initiated to replace the <br />1989 Park budget monies spent on the Central Park building. <br /> <br />Carol Pelton, Park and Recreation Chairperson, advised that the <br />City would receive the $12,000 grant monies before December 31, <br />1988 and in one lump sum. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Burgstahler that contingent upon <br />receiving the $12,000 grant monies "in hand", the Park and <br />Recreation Committee will be given approval to go ahead with <br />
