<br />Minutes CC <br />page five <br />November 21~ 1988 <br /> <br />be December 28, 1988. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to direct the Clerk to <br />write a letter to Mary Ayde of Lake Sanitation to: <br />-thank her for the work she has done and is doing for the <br />City of Centerville with regard to waste management, <br />-ask her to check with Anoka County for options with regard <br />to possible free pails with wheels or bins with wheels <br />for residents for waste pick up (preferably bins versus <br />pails) , <br />-ask her to respond to the possibility of reduced rates for <br />residents who recycle and the possibility of a lottery <br />type program for recycling participants, <br />if the City receives a reply before the next newsletter goes out, <br />this information will be included in the newsletter, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council member Fritchie noted that there are many cars on <br />properties that are not being used. Mayor L'Allier advised that <br />City ordinance defines a junk car as non-operational or <br />unlicensed. Clerk noted that if specific addresses are given to <br />the City, the City can respond by writing a nuisance abatement <br />letter to the property owners. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Fritchie to direct the Clerk to <br />research other cities to see what they do with regard to exotic <br />dance, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />It was noted that the 1950 Studebaker has been returned to the <br />City and the transfer of license is in process. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Burgstahler to adopt Resolution <br />#88-72 accepting the proposed Northern State Power easement for <br />the vacated portion of Westview Street, contingent upon City <br />Engineer and City Attorney review, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Burgstahler to grant the following <br />licenses for Gregg's Centerville Lounge through March 31, 1989: <br />-On Sale Liquor, <br />-Off Sale Liquor, <br />-Sunday Liquor, <br />-Off Sale Non-Intoxicating Liquor, <br />-Cigarette; <br />contingent upon appropriate police approval, consultation from <br />the City Attorney, and upon receipt of the proper paperwork from <br />Gregg Weiss, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Wilharber to grant the following <br />licenses for the Centerville Waterwork's for the 1989 year: <br />
