<br />Minutes CC <br />page four <br />November 21, 1988 <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to reque6t a meeting of <br />the current City Council members, future City Council members and <br />the Centerville Centennial Fire District Commission members, to <br />be held December 20, 1988, 7:00 p.m. at City Hall; the purpose of <br />the meeting will be to discuss the Centennial Fire District and <br />Station ~3, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to appoint Richard <br />Daschel as Alternate Fire Commission Member through December 31, <br />1989, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk noted that a Centerville resident has come forward to <br />volunteer to work on the Anoka County Light Rail Transit (LRT) <br />Committee, but that Clerk has been having difficulty getting an <br />answer from Anoka County as to whether Centerville can still <br />participate. Carol Pelton, 7178 Mill Road advised that she would <br />be attending the November 29, 1988 informational LRT meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Fritchie to table discussion of <br />LRT until such time that addition information is available, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Fritchie to amend the following <br />City Council meeting minutes: <br />-August 23, 1988 - page one, paragraph one <br />_ amend "Lindquist" to "Lindgren", <br />-September 28, 1988 - page five, paragraph four <br />now reads: It.. .left up to the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission to come back...It <br />amended to read: ".. . left up to the Park and <br />Recreation Committee..." <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to accept the draft <br />personnel ordinance, contingent upon City Attorney review, and <br />except for the vacation portion; the Council will return to <br />discuss employee vacations after Clerk has gathered information <br />from other cities as to what their policies are, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Council member Neumann noted that grates have been put on the <br />sewer openings. He also expressed concern over dangerous breeds <br />of dogs within the City. Clerk will research whether the recent <br />legislation on Pit Bull regulations was a local Minneapolis <br />action or a new State Statute. <br /> <br />Council member Wilharber noted that Cable Channel 16 is up and <br />that Dennis Zerwas and the City employees should be commended for <br />their efforts. He also noted that Zerwas will be taping the <br />December 14, 1988 meeting, but that the first live meeting will <br />
