<br />Flood Plain Meeting Minutes <br />Page Four <br />November 17, 1988 <br /> <br />also noted that fill had been put in on Center Oaks II that <br />should a~ount to enough to take that area out of the flood plain. <br />However, he advised that it is a tough and lengthy process to get <br />the Federal Government to do this and make out the new maps. He <br />advised that this could take as long as four years. <br /> <br />Brian Miller advised that the reason for the length of the <br />project in part would be because the Federal Government has other <br />projects that take precedence over the Center Oaks II project in <br />Centerville. For example, there are many projects that the <br />Federal Government has that involve loss of lives, etc. <br /> <br />Steele noted that he felt that Tkaczik and Kenco Construction <br />Companies should pay for part of the Feasibility Study posed at <br />this meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to adjourn the meeting, <br />motion carried unanimously.
