<br />CC Meeting Minutes <br />Page two <br />October 12, 1988 <br /> <br />Parking" between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on <br />week days, <br />-crosswalks on Main Street at Mill Road and at <br />Shad Avenue, <br />(a copy of this letter will be sent to the Centennial <br />School District); <br />- direct Council member Neumann to investigate the <br />possibility of "One Way" designation on Progress Road <br />and Westview Street, this is to include City obligation <br />of necessary signs, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Wilharber to direct the Clerk to: <br />-write a letter to Anoka County Highway Department to <br />request flashing warning lights at crosswalks on Main <br />Street, (a copy of the letter to be sent to the <br />Centennial School District); <br />-write a letter to the Centennial School District requesting <br />their support in a request for flashing lights at <br />crosswalks on Main Street (a copy of the letter to be <br />sent to the Anoka County Highway Department), <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council member Wilharber noted that a trail dedication fee would <br />be worth looking into and that permanent easements for trails <br />should be kept in mind. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Wilharber to request that the Park <br />and Recreation Committee investigate and make a recommendation to <br />the City Council regarding the possibility of adding a walking <br />path to the east of the Centerville Elementary School from the <br />cul-de-sac across the creek to the school, as recommended by the <br />Centennial Pupil Transportation Policy Review Committee; the Park <br />and Recreation Committee investigation should include costs, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Carol Pelton, 7178 Mill <br />County Park into town <br />Street. <br /> <br />Road stated that a walkway from the <br />should be physically separated from Main <br /> <br />Copies of the above letters will be sent to Dan Kelley, Principal <br />of the Centerville Elementary School. <br /> <br />Joe Pelton, Centerville police liaison, was present to update the <br />Council on meetings with Lino Lakes. Pelton advised that he had <br />not yet completed interviews with individuals, thus could not <br />recommend a liaison group at this time. <br /> <br />Pelton advised that he did have a meeting with Lino Lakes Chief <br />of Police, Dean Campbell and Lino Lakes City Council member, Andy <br />
