Further details can <br />Department's website. <br />Centerville of City <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />January 28, 2009 <br />be obtained from the Centennial Lakes Police <br />The Police Department is continuing the LTMCPI Management Training. <br />City Events <br />The Police have been in contact with Centerville Elementary and Creative Kids Daycare. <br />Officer Langreck is continuing the Theft from Vehicle Deterrent Program. <br />Officer Kruger is continuing the Open Garage Awareness Program, and is getting stickers to use to alert <br />citizens. <br />Officer Sandmann was watching 2 houses, one of which has gone. He is also gathering information for <br />crime prevention pamphlets <br />Miscellaneous Statistics <br />107 Warning tickets and quite a few citations were issued in the last month. These were mainly <br />speeding citations and were due to the reopening of Main Street. <br />4 DWI's were issued. <br />1 snowmobile citation was issued. <br />Mayor Capra reported that Michelle Lakeo held a CERT Emergency Scenario on Monday, January 26, <br />which went very well. <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS <br />Adoption of Ordinance, reor a'~ nizin.~ Chapter 154, Zoning, and renumbering it to Chapter 156 <br />City Attorney Glaser stated that Chapter 156 contained exactly the same text as in Chapter 154 during <br />the last Council Meeting. He stated that, because there were so many changes to Chapter 154, and to <br />make it less confusing, it was decided to retire Chapter 154 and adopt Chapter156. <br />Motion made by Councilmember Lee, seconded by Councilmember Broussard Vickers, to retire <br />Chapter 154, Zoning, and adopt it as Chapter 156. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />2. Adoption of Resolution #09-003 - Approving Summary of Ordinance for Publication <br />City Attorney Glaser stated that this Resolution was in the Councilmembers' packets for their approval. <br />Motion by Councilmember Fehrenbacher, seconded by Councilmember Lee, to approve adoption <br />of Resolution #09-003, approving Summary of Ordinance for publication. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />VIII. NEW BUSINESS <br />Approve Funds for Soil Borings in Conjunction with Downtown Area Draina.~e System, Not to <br />Exceed $3,780 <br />City engineer Mark Statz reported that the City is continuing to look at additional options for storm <br />water treatment and a solution to use pond systems for irrigation for ball fields. He stated that Public <br />Works Director Palzar suggested the site on the southwest corner of Lamont Park, south of the Warming <br />Page 3 of 5 <br />
