<br />I <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />March 13, 1985 at City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the <br />meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. Present: Robischon, Zimny, <br />Wilharber. Ayers arrived at 7:20 P.M. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to approve the minutes <br />of the February 27, 1985 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS. Complaint received on dogs running <br />loose on east end of town. Motion by L'Allier, second by <br />Robischon to have White Bear Animal Control patrol on a <br />Thursday evening between the hours of 8:00 P.M. and 10.00 P.M., <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Complaint received from Sheila Grah~, 7224 Mill Road. The <br />snow plow took a chunk out of her driveway. It was questioned <br />as to whether or not the driveway overlaped Mill Road allowing <br />the plow to catch on it. Mayor L'Allier and a councilman <br />will look at it before the next meeting. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS. Update on North Central Suburban Cable Communication <br />Commission by Ted Gonsior. Group W is presently trying to <br />re-negotiate the Franchise agreement. When Group W & the <br />NCSCCC come to terms, City approval will be needed. Centerville <br />is 16th out of 18 initial service areas. Projected installation <br />is November 1985. <br /> <br />Spring clean up is set for April 27, 1985. A dumpster will <br />be placed along side the rink just off the City Hall driveway <br />and Heritage Street. A yard waste pickup is also set for <br />May 4, 1985. The clerk will put an ad in the paper. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to purchase trip plow <br />from Truck Utilities and repair the transmission on the <br />city truck at Kohlers, motion carried. <br /> <br />Request by Jim Flannery, attorney for Becky Stevens, to <br />review the question of whether or not a lot purchased by <br />Becky in 1979 is buildable. Motion by Robischon. second <br />by Wilharber to set up a joint workshop at 6.Jo P.M., on <br />March 27, 1985 with the City Council, Planning & Zoning <br />members, City Attorney. Becky Stevens, and Jim Flannery <br />for the purpose of discussing Becky Steven's lot. motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS. Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to allow <br />a beer & bingo permit be issued to St. Genevieve's church for <br />their annual picnic on August 18, 1985; and to allow them to <br />rope off that portion of Goiffon Street running between <br />Main Street and Sorel Street, motion carried. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to give the Planning <br />& Zoning Commission a 60 day extension for their recommendation <br />to the council on the issue of rezoning the property at <br />6805 - 20th Avenue South from Industrial to Commercial. <br /> <br />~ <br />
