<br />I <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />February 27, 1985, at City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called <br />the meeting to order at 7-05 P.M. Present: Ayers, Robischon, <br />Zimny, Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to approve the minutes <br />of the February 1J, 1985 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS_ <br /> <br />Discussion on problems with the rink and warming house. <br />Problems referenced_ Drinking in the warming house. <br />Defacing walls <br />Door torn off <br />light switch broken <br />The rink is shut down for the season. Some suggestions for <br />next season were. More adult supervision <br />Have police stop in unannounced <br />Monitors can no longer skate <br />Clean up warming house monthly <br />Establish written rules and regulations <br />for the monitors <br />Pay a leader at a higher amount to oversee <br />the monitors <br />Stress monitoring is a job - not fun with pay <br /> <br />Complaint on dogs on east end of town. Mayor will contact <br />police to see if they can patrol more. <br /> <br />Complaint received from retired fireman on distribution of <br />Fire Relief Funds being distributed equally. He felt unfair <br />to those who served more years on the Fire Department. <br /> <br />Long distance calls being made on hall phone at night. Clerk <br />will report to phone company. <br /> <br />Harvey will get some class 5 for Mill Road and Peltier Lake <br />Drive, and check with Dan Tourville on leveling the roads. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />It was decided not to participate in the Minnesota Housing <br />Financing Agency's Rental Rehabilitation Program as it wasn't <br />applicable to our needs. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to move the gas <br />switch from the warming house to the garage, and to replace <br />broken light switch in the warming house, motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Ayers to allow Peter Huesseler <br />to attend the Workshop on Rezoning to be held March 7, 1985, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />~ention was ma~e of Trippel's generosity in sending bakery <br />ltems to the Flre Department after last weekends fire. The <br />Fire Department will be sending them a letter of thanks. <br /> <br />I <br />~ <br />
