<br />( <br /> <br />Page Two - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />No~mber 1), 1985 <br /> <br />Motim by Wilharber, second by Zimny to send Mr. Moreland, <br />1540 Peltier Lake Drive a letter acknowledging the progress <br />he has made cleaning up his property, notifying him the cleanup <br />is not sufficiently completed, and referring to attorneys letter <br />dated September 3, 1985. If action is not resumed within <br />10 days the City Attorney will be asked to proceed with <br />litigation. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to refer the Wild & <br />Exotic Animal Ordinance to the City Attorney for review, <br />motim carried unanimously. It was noted any permit fees established <br />for Wild & Exotic Animals should be large enough to cover <br />publishing and hearing costs. <br /> <br />Motion by Zimny, second by Robischon to authorize Councilman <br />Wilharber to purchase name plates for City Council members, <br />City Attorney, and City Clerk, not to exceed $125.00, motion <br />carried unanimosly. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Wilharber to hire Ro-So Contracting <br />to raise and repair two manholes, motion carried unanimously. <br />After this work has been completed, the council would like Ro-So <br />to document their work to allow us to forward it to the <br />Metropolitan Waste Control Commission. <br /> <br />Motion by Zimny, second by Robischon to purchase John Deer <br />snowblower - model #826 at $875.00 less trade-in of $500.00, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Appearance of Harvey Karth, President and Bob Chilson, Vice- <br />President of the Lino Lakes Lion's Club. They requested permission <br />to have pull tabs at the Twin Lakes Pavillion. The permit <br />would be for the period of 1 year, 3 nights per week until 9:00 P.M., <br />staffed by Lions Club members. Proceeds go to a sight and <br />hearing charity at the University of Minnesota. This operation <br />would be licensed by the state and monitored by the state. The <br />Centerville Lion.s Club has no problem with the Lino Lakes <br />Lion's Club doing this in Centerville. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to approve a permit for <br />the Lino Lakes Lion's Club to have pull tabs at the Twin Lakes <br />Pavillion for the period of 1 year from issuance of state license, <br />on the condition it be operated by Lion's Club members only, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to permit members of <br />Planning and Zoning Commission attend the Annual Planning <br />Institute, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to table compost turning <br />matter until next meeting when Harvey has some price information, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />I <br />~~ <br />
