<br />/ <br /> <br />Page Three - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 13, 1985 <br /> <br />The City Council is totally supportive of the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission in their evaluation of Ordinance #4. The Council <br />would like to be kept abreast of their progress and be able <br />to attend meetings when they are discussing some of the more <br />controversial areas. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to pay Mr. Fagerstrom for <br />his appraisal of the Fire Equipment for the Centennial Fire <br />District, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Approval of the appraisal is tabled until the November 25, 1985 <br />council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to accept the changes in <br />section 3.2 of the Joint Powers Agreement and section 6.3 of <br />the Centennial Fire District By-Laws, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The City Council is looking for an Audit Committee member by <br />December 31, 1985. <br /> <br />Approval of the Centennial Fire District budget was tabled <br />until the November 25, 1985 meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Wilharber to approve ~d LaTuff <br />as the new chairperson for the Centennial Fire District, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Zimny to move the November 27, 1985 <br />"Council meeting to November 25, 1985 at 7:00 P.M. due to ".- <br />conflicts with the Thanksgiving Holiday, motion carried <br />unanimously. Clerk will confirm availability of City Hall with <br />the Women's Auxiliary. <br /> <br />Clerk will contact Anoka County Surveyor's Office for copy of <br />updated aerial photograph. <br /> <br />Clerk will notify Margaret Langfeld of meeting change. <br /> <br />Harvey will check the Royal Meadows park area to see if <br />cleaned up. If not, clerk will contact developer. If they <br />won't clean up then City will and bill them. <br /> <br />Clerk wi1 put the matter of Royal Meadows tot lot surface on the <br />Park agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to send Milner Carley <br />Engineering a letter requesting documentation of correction of <br />curb backfill to insure follow-up is being done, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk will check out the following items referencing the <br />Community Development Block Grant program: <br />- Can we do more than one project to use our allotted <br />dollar amount up? <br />- Would a siren for a civil defense system qualify? <br />- Did the cuts affect the amounts we pooled over the <br />last 2 years? <br /> <br />'~ <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />___, <br />
