<br />/ <br /> <br />Page Two - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />October 23, 1985 <br /> <br />The purchase of new City signs was tabled until the November <br />13, 1985 meeting. Clerk will check with the County on <br />sign prices as well as get additional costs on smaller <br />sized signs. <br /> <br />Harvey will check with Ho-So for cost estimates on raising <br />up manholes that are presently too low. <br /> <br />Clerk will check with Lake Sanitation on yard waste pickup. <br />Should be running separate truck for yard waste pickup to <br />be hauled to compost site. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Zimny to have the Clerk send <br />a letter to Lake Sanitation requesting their presence at <br />the next council meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk will check with John Waldoch, Waldoch Sports, Lino <br />Lakes, on trade-in of the City's Honda snow blower. <br /> <br />Clerk will write letter to Honda dealership on dissatisfaction <br />wi th present HO.nda snowblower. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS I <br />Presentation by Larry Jablinski, Centennial Schools Director <br />of Community Education. <br /> <br />The matter of contributions to the Community Education program <br />will be discussed at the November i), 1985 meeting. Clerk <br />will check to see what was contributed in the past. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to have Clerk send a <br />thank-you letter to Stacy Lundblad for being Centerville's <br />Community Education Representative, and also ask if she <br />will continue in that capacity, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />A proclamation supporting the Farm Policy Reform Act is <br />in the City Clerks office. Anyone wishing to sign it may. <br /> <br />PAYMENT OF CLAIMS.: <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Zimny to pay current claims, <br />motia carried unanimously. A copy of the receipts and <br />disbursements is attached to and made a part of these <br />minutes. <br /> <br />FINAL COlVIlVIENTS. <br />Clerk will request contractor clean up the City Park at <br />Royal Meadows. <br /> <br />Clerk will check for documantation specifying screening <br />to be planted at Royal Meadows. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />I <br />~I <br />
