<br />/ <br />/ <br /> <br />Page two - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />September 11, 1985 <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS 1 <br /> <br />An amendment to Ordinance #41 allowing beer permits be issued <br />to civic groups or non-profit organizations on City Property <br />will be referred to the Park & Recreation Committee, then to <br />the Planning and Zoning Commission for recommendations to <br />the City Council. <br /> <br />Clerk will send thank you letter to Ed Adams, Trio Inn, for <br />use of his commercial paint sprayer. <br /> <br />Mo~ion by Wilharber, second by Ayers to refer an'~rdinance <br />Providing An Abatement Procedure For Nuisances' to the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission to be acted on as a priority <br />item for recommendation to the City Council by October 9,1985, <br />motion carried unanimously. Clerk will check with the City <br />Attorney to see if "hearing examiner" referenced in above <br />ordinance could be the City Council. <br /> <br />Clerk will check with Police on procedure to handle over- <br />weight vehicles. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to have clerk further <br />pursue information on sirens for the City - cost, grants etc.- <br />from Bruce Wojack, Anoka County Emergency Services, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The Park & Recreation Committee may request assistance from <br />Harvey Cartier, Director of Public Work~, but they will be <br />charged for his time. <br /> <br />Harvey will get prices on storm windows and screen for the <br />Hall. He can also buy some JM plastic to cover the windows <br />for the winter. <br /> <br />PAYMENT OF CLAIMS 1 <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Ayers to pay current claims <br />with the exception of the bill from Flannigan Sales, motion <br />carried unanimously. A oopy of the receipts and disbursements <br />are attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />FINAL COlVllVIENTSI <br />None <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to adjourn meeting, <br />motion carried unanimously.
