<br />( <br /> <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />December 11, 1985 at City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the <br />meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. Present: Ayers, Zimny, <br />Robischon, Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to accept the minutes <br />of the November 25, 1985 Council meeting, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />P~TITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Appearance of Ted Gonsior, Centerville's Cable Representative, <br />and Michael Cusick, Cable Administrator for the North Central <br />Suburban Cable Communication Commission, to update the <br />Council on the progress of cable tv in the area and to <br />request approval of amendment to the franchise agreement. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to approve the ordinance <br />summary amending Ordinance #41 regarding the franchise <br />agreement between the City of Centerville and Group W Cable <br />of the North Central Suburbs, Inc., motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to approve Cable <br />Communications Ordinance Amendment Agreement No.1, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Ayers to approve Resolution <br />#4 adopting Cable Communications Ordinance Amendment <br />Agreement #1, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Copies of these agreements are on file in the City Clerks <br />office. <br /> <br />Final discussion was made on the three engineering firms <br />to be considered for City ~ngineer. A roll call vote was <br />taken of the councilmen as follows: Councilman Wilharber - <br />Maier, Stewart and-Associates, Councilman Zimny - Maier, <br />Stewart and Associates, Councilman Robischon - Maier, Stewart <br />and Associates, Councilman Ayers - Toltz, King, Duvall and <br />Anderson, Mayor L'Allier - Maier, Stewart and Associates. <br />Maier,;;Stewart and Associates will be the Ci ty' of Centerville' s <br />City Engineer effective January 1, 1986. Clerk will notify <br />remaining firms. Clerk will also send a letter to Milner <br />Carley & Associates thanking them for their years of service, <br />and assisting the new firm in a smooth transition. <br /> <br />( <br />! <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Zimny to table the Centennial <br />Fire District Appraisal until the second meeting in December, <br />motion carried unanimously. Clerk will request Des or Art <br />be at the meeting. <br /> <br />Centennial Fire District Planning Commission will be on the <br />agenda for the second meeting in December. Clerk will <br />find out additional information on Commission. <br /> <br />Clerk will put 1540 Peltier Lake Drive - Yard Cleanup - <br /> <br />~ <br />
