Clerk <br />will further check into using grant money for handicapped <br />access and sidewalks to the City Hall, Transit Advisory <br />Committee money, and Housing Rehabilitation including <br />money to publicize the program. Clerk will also verify <br />time schedule with the County. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Ayers to change the second <br />meeting in December from the 25th to the 2Jrd, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />There will be a Centennial Fire District Budget Meeting from <br />6:00 P.M. to 6:Jo P.M. at the Lino Lakes City Hall on Tuesday, <br />December 17, 1985. <br /> <br />NEW BUSIN~SS: <br />Discussion on damage to mailboxes by snowplow. It was <br />decided mailboxes bumped will be repaired by owners as <br />it is on the City right of way. If a mailbox is flattened, <br />the City will replace it. Clerk will also check with <br />other communities to see what their procedure is. <br /> <br />Clerk will request police check on the snowbird on Clear- <br />water Drive. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to send a letter to <br />Department of Natural Resources, Anoka County Sheriff's <br />Office, Lino Lakes Police Department; copying in DTRA, <br />Rice Creek Watershed District, St. Paul Water Dept.; <br />expressing the City of Centerville's concerns regarding the <br />races on Centerville Lake, specifically including the lack <br />of outdoor sanitation facilities, trash pickup, and oil or <br />fuel spills, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk will check with the new City Engineer on the Houle- <br />L'Allier Ditch cleanout. Per contract must be done by <br />4-16-86. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to deny payment to <br />Truck Utilities, motion carried unanimously. Clerk will <br />send a letter to Truck Utilities conveying our dissatis- <br />faction with the present plow and reasons for denying <br />payment including - Plow not long enough to extend past <br />wheels, original shoes not strong enough, plow originally <br />set too high to plow snow, welding done on truck broke before <br />the truck made it back to town. <br /> <br />Motia by Robischon, second by Wilharber to pay current claims <br />excluding claim from Truck Utilities, motion carried unanimously. <br />A copy of the receipts and disbursements is attached to and <br />made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />I <br />~- <br />
