<br />/' <br /> <br />Page two - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />August 14, 1985 <br /> <br />NEW BUSIN~SS 1 <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Ayers to amend Ordinance #4, <br />Table A - Schedule of Permitted Uses to include auto <br />sales, service and repair in the Industrial Zone, and <br />also change the Comprehensive Plan to concurr, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to approve a 10 foo~ <br />rear yard setback variance , per the recommendation of the <br />Planning and Zoning Committee meeting of August 6, 1985, to <br />the property described as all of lots 4 through 6, block 13, <br />Centerville, vacated street lying N of a line extended <br />from the SE corner of said lot 4 to the SW corner of lot 9, <br />block 12, Centerville, except the Westerly 20 feet of said <br />lots 4 through 6, block 13. lot 7 & 8, block 12, Centerville, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Discussion on animal ordinance. The possibility of adding <br />a section on wild and exotic animals, combining this ordinance <br />with the dog ordinance, and checking how the new state <br />legislation on dogs at large affected our ordinance was <br />discussed. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Ayers to table the animal <br />ordinance until the next meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to amend Ordinance <br />No. 41 as follows. <br />Section IV is revised to read. <br />LITTERING. No person shall litter or cast or allow <br />to remain any rubbish or trash of any kind or nature <br />in or about any public park .or public grounds. No <br />person shall bring glass containers into any designated <br />Park Land in the City; <br /> <br />Section XXI will be added: <br />Any person, firm or corporation violating any of <br />the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon <br />conviction thereof, be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor <br />as defined by state law; <br /> <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Budget meeting set up for September 9, 1985 at 71JO P.M. <br /> <br />Discussion on Centennial Fire District budget. Will be <br />discussed further at future budget meetings. <br /> <br />Harvey will get prices on a new chain saw versus renting <br />one when needed. <br /> <br />City Hall should be painted by August 28th meeting. <br /> <br />~ <br />
