Harvey will check with them on painting the rink <br />and warming house. <br /> <br />Clerk will check to see if attorney can petition the court <br />to have defendants pay court costs in traffic cases the <br />City prosecutes. <br /> <br />Councilman Wilharber was the August liaison to Planning <br />and Zoning. He mentioned the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />would appreciate the council considering a new City Engineer <br />with planning capabilities. He also stated a developer <br />proposed a possible plat behind Trippels Market consisting <br />of 103 homes ranging in price from $70,000 - $100,000, with <br />lot sizes smaller than our ordinance presently allows. <br /> <br />Council agreed with Planning and Zoning Chairman Dan Tourville <br />that it would be a good idea to look at and review Ordinance <br />No.4. <br /> <br />Clerk will set up a Capital Improvement Fund. <br /> <br />Clerk will research the possibilities of combining smaller <br />savings accounts and investing them in a higher interest <br />bearing fund. <br /> <br />Clerk, Harvey Cartier and Dick Robischon will be on the <br />Federal Surplus Property eligibility list. <br /> <br />City will reimburse Deputy Clerk for use of her own typewriter <br />at the City Hall. <br /> <br />Wayne LeBlanc, 1677 Peltier Lake Drive requested an update <br />on the road reconstruction situation. Councilman Ayers <br />advised him the City is sending out a letter requesting <br />proposals and bids from other engineers. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to have the Clerk <br />get the City Attorney's professional opinion in writing <br />on the chances the City would have to recover funds through <br />a lawsuit against the City Engineer pertaining to the road <br />construction of 1979, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Harvey will check with the City Engineer to set up a measuring <br />device at the Clearwater Creek culvert under Peltier Lake <br />Drive to measure water levels. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Ayers to pay current claims, <br />motion carried unanimously. A copy of receipts and dis- <br />bursements is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Dan Tourville stated he is working on getting maps for the <br />Ci ty. <br /> <br />~- <br />
