<br />/ <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on July 24, 1985 <br />at City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the meeting to order <br />at 7.00 P.M. Present. Ayers, Robischon, Zimny, Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to approve the minutes <br />of the July 10 meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS. <br /> <br />Complaint received on kids loitering at the tennis court <br />and school parking lo't at night. Clerk referred matter to <br />Police Chief prior to meeting. <br /> <br />Petition received from residents on Mill Road requesting the <br />following. 1. Elevation of Mill Road remain same. <br />2. Mill Road be upgraded with current elevation <br />maintained. <br />3. Check into replacing base & resurfacing road <br />maintaining current elevation. <br />4. 100% tax levy to pay for costs. <br />The following residents expressed their opinion on the <br />reconstruction of the roads. <br />Warren Dahl, 7241 Mill Road <br />Maureen Aslesen, 7232 Mill Road <br />Glen & Val Carpenter, 7235 Mill Road <br />Art Mohler, 1756 Peltier Lake Drive <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS. <br /> <br />Discussion on roads with John Stewart of Maier, Stewart & <br />Associates. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to send requests for <br />qualifications and proposals using Maier, Stewart and <br />Associates specifications as reference material, and alternative <br />proposals for reconstruction of city streets, motion carried <br />unanimously. Councilman Ayers will work with Clerk to prepare <br />letter for engineering firms. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny .~to increase the sewer <br />rates by $8.00 per quarter effective July 1, 1985 for the <br />period of one year at which time the charge will be reevaluated, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to amend motion of <br />July 10, 1985 meeting amending motion of April 13, 1983 <br />meeting to read. <br />"And to chan~e the sewer service area from swi <br />of swt of NW4 of Section 24, Township 31,' Range <br />22 Anoka County, Minnesota to the NEi.of swt of <br />NW! of Section 24, Township 31, Range 22, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota," <br />upon verification by the developer of Raven Industrial Park <br />that the legal description follows their original intent, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />~ <br />
