<br />/ <br /> <br />Page two - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />July 24, 198.5 <br /> <br />Councilman Zimny received a complaint from Steven King, <br />708.5 Progress Road, on verbal abuse from volleyball players <br />behind Ed's Trio Inn. The Trio now has a building permit <br />to put up a fence around the court, and has begun construction. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS. <br /> <br />Presentation by Diane Harberts, Transportation Specialist, <br />Anoka County Transportation Coordination Program. Ms. Harberts <br />will be surveying elderly people in the area to determine <br />the need for a transportation program. She will be approaching <br />the Council again in about a month to solicite their support <br />for such a program. <br /> <br />Mayor L'Allier and Councilman Zimny will contact Ray Houle <br />and Gary Barott to see if an overhead can be added to the <br />well being put in the City Park. <br /> <br />Clerk will send letter to Sandra Heineman, 1983 North Robin <br />Lane, to inform the residents that the City is considering <br />the acceptance of the roads and sewers at Royal Meadows. <br />If the residents have any comments referencing this matter, they <br />can contact the City prior to the next meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Zimny to have the City Clerk <br />publicize for a new City Engineer for the purpose of replacing <br />Milner W. Carley & Associates, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk will contact Milner W. Carley & Associates to ask for <br />continuous inspections and reports on the sewer stubs going <br />into Peltier Lake Hills Addition #2. <br /> <br />Clerk will check with the Building Inspector on pressure <br />testing underground tank at 1724 Main Street. <br /> <br />Clerk will check with Building Inspector on underground <br />tank at the Perron property, 1798 Main Street. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Ayers to pay claims, motion <br />carried unanimously. A copy of current receipts and <br />disbursements are attached to anQ made a part of these <br />minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to spend up to <br />$100.00 on paint for the City Hall. <br /> <br />FINAL COMMENTS. <br /> <br />Complaint received on open drinking at a City Park softball <br />game. City Clerk will refer the matter of posting park <br />rules to the Park & Recreation Committee. Harvey will put <br />up a "No Alcoholic Beverages" sign up. <br /> <br />Clerk will check with Lake Sanitation on the pickup date <br />for the City Park. <br /> <br />~ <br />
