<br />( <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, May <br />8, 1985, in City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the meeting <br />to order at 7103 P.M. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Zimny to approve the minutes <br />of the April 24 meeting, Ayers abstained, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS, <br />Mention by Ayers of 6 - 8 drums containing material of some <br />kind stacked on the Rehbein property at 6805 - 20th Avenue <br />South between Brokke's property and Rehbein's building. The <br />drums were expanded at each end, indicating some kind of <br />pressure from inside. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to have Clerk contact <br />Bob Hutchison, Anoka County Health Department, by letter, to <br />inspect and take necessary action, motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk will contact the Anoka County Highway Department <br />regarding the dead grass along the boulevard on County <br />Road 14 east of 20th avenue. <br /> <br />Clerk will contact the Forest Lake School District on Bus <br />#45 driving on Peltier Lake Drive and Mill Road between <br />7140 A.M. & 8100 A.M. Due to the poor conditions of both <br />Mill Road and Peltier Lake Drive, the Clerk will request <br />they go around the two roads on Main Street rather than cut <br />through. <br /> <br />Council gave approval to Harvey to ~lush the sewers on Mound <br />Trail and Brian Drive three times a year. <br /> <br />It was clairfied that the City Attorney can be called for <br />opinion by the Planning and Zoning Chairman, or by council- <br />men with the Mayor or Assistant Mayor notification. <br /> <br />Harvey will check into the repair of the bump on Shad Avenue <br />and the washout of the culvert on Mill Road. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS I <br />Appearance of Don Carley and Nick Gionfriddo from Milner <br />Carley & Associates. A letter was presented to the council <br />dated May 18, 1977, from the Rice Creek Watershed District <br />engineers to Milner W. Carley & Associates. The letter re- <br />commended a 96" corrugated metal pipe be installed at the <br />crossing of Clearwater Creek and Peltier Lake Drive. The <br />actual pipe installed was 102". <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Ayers to have the City <br />Attorney look at the letter and draft a response to the <br />Rice Creek Watershed District, motion carried. <br /> <br />Carley Engineering will also contact the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Afpearance of Leonard Ayde, Lake Sanitation. A total of <br />42 roll offs were filled during the Spring Cleanup. <br /> <br />~ <br />
