<br />Floodplain Assessment <br /> <br />TE Grant Trail Project <br /> <br />Proiect Descrintion <br /> <br />The City of Centerville is proposing to construct 2.5 miles of pedestrianlbicycle trail linkages <br />with appurtenances at the following locations: <br /> <br />I. Mill Road from Main Street (CSAH 14) to Peltier Lake Drive <br />2. Off Road from Main Street (CSAH 14) to Heritage Street and west on Heritage Street <br />3. Sorel Street from Goiffon Road to Dupre Road <br />4. Centerville Road (CSAH 21) from Meadow Lane to Westview Street <br />5. Off Road from Centerville Road (CSAH 21) to Lamotte Drive and connecting to existing <br />trails within Lamotte Park <br />6. Off Road from existing trail near Eagle Trail to Main Street (CSAH 14) with a pedestrian <br />bridge crossing the Clearwater Creek <br />7. 20th Avenue (CSAH 54) from a point south of Center Street to Main Street (CSAH 14). <br />This segment also will have an off road spur from 20th Avenue (CSAH 54), west to <br />Eagle Trail. <br />8. Off Road from existing trail south of Center Street to 20th Avenue (CSAH 54) <br /> <br />The new trail segments will be a bituminous trail with a minimum width of 8 feet and will <br />have 2 foot clear zones on either side. <br /> <br />A new park will also be constructed as part of this project to be used as a rest stop for trail <br />users. Two locations for this park are under consideration. One possible park location <br />includes the area next to the existing City Hall, already City property. The second potential <br />location for a trail park is adjacent to CSAH 14 near Centerville Lake. This location is also <br />on property owned by the City ofCenterville.
