(Cl651-249-3010 <br /> <br />Work to be performed or overseen by: Centerville Public Works Department <br /> <br />Expected Project Completion Date: To be advised <br /> <br />Project Description: <br /> <br />This project is to construct a bicycle/pedestrian bridge allowing a new trail (designated "L" on <br />the TE Trail Grant Project Scope map) to cross Clearwater Creek near Centerville City Hall <br />connecting an existing trail to the south to the new Regional Trail being built along Main Street. <br /> <br />Document Scope: <br /> <br />This document represents best efforts of the Centerville Parks & Recreation Committee to list <br />the project requirements that are deemed necessary for a favorable outcome to the project. <br />Local regulations, safety considerations and best construction practices will take precedent over <br />these requirements; however it is the obligation of those who are overseeing the work <br />performed to bring such discrepancies to the attention of the P & R Project Contact for further <br />discussion. <br /> <br />Project Requirements: <br /> <br />1) The bridge shall be designed and constructed to allow safe and easy passage of <br />pedestrians and bicycles. <br /> <br />Clarification: All ridinglwalking surfaces should be relatively smooth so as to not present <br />trip hazards or difficult bicycling. <br /> <br />2) The bridge shall be of a design and materials to allow for an attractive appearance <br />throughout its service life. <br /> <br />Clarification: There should be no or minimal use paint that would require regular re- <br />painting.
