<br />Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> Meeting Minutes 03-04-09 <br /> <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />Wednesday, March 4, 2009 - 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville held the <br />regularly scheduled Wednesday, March 4, 2009 meeting at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> Chairperson Suzanne Seeley <br /> Vice-Chairperson Kevin Amundsen <br /> Committee Member Kevin Selander <br /> Committee Member Savannah Lee <br /> <br />Absent: <br />Committee Member Patrick Branch <br />Committee Member Mark Haiden <br />Committee Member Lori Harris <br /> <br />Council: <br />Council Member Lee <br /> <br />Staff: <br /> Staff Liaison Kim Stephan <br />Mr. Paul Palzer, Public Works Director <br /> Mr. Mark Statz, City Engineer <br />__________________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> 1. Roll Call <br /> <br />Chairperson Seeley called the March 4, 2009 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting to order at 6:34 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br />Chairperson Seeley requested adding a review of Skate Night/Horse Drawn Hayride as #4 - Updates <br />and the Project Requirement Form as #5 - Updates. Mr. Paul Palzer, Public Works Director requested <br />adding a discussion of an Accelerator Retrofit Package Recall/Game Time for a piece of play <br />equipment at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park as #5 - Committee Business. Vice-Chairperson <br /># <br />Amundsen requested adding a discussion of Solar Lighting as 6 - Updates. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Vice-Chairperson Amundsen, seconded by Committee Member Selander to <br />set the agenda with the above additions. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Liz Guimont, Youth/Teen/Family Director - Chain of Lakes YMCA – Summer Programs <br /> <br />Liz Guimont, Youth/Teen/Family Director, Chain of Lakes YMCA made an appearance at the March <br />4, 2009 Parks & Recreation Committee meeting to discuss the Summer Program, Park Play Days at <br />1 of 7 <br /> <br />
