<br />Page Two - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 14, 1986 <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to allow a permit <br />process for overweight vehicles on restricted roads as <br />follows: - permit application filled out and approved <br />by City Council, <br />- 1 loads only, <br />- $10.00 per load, <br />- driver must have permit in hand, <br />motion carried unanimously. Clerk will get copy of permit <br />form used by Lino Lakes. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to approve a Joint Powers <br />Agreement between the City of Centerville and Anoka County <br />for the distribution of 1985 landfill surcharge monies to <br />reimburse expenses for local landfill abatement activities, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />There will be a branch cleanup in July. Clerk will put <br />upcoming event on channel 10. Clerk will also put on June <br />25agenda to set specific date. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to approve the <br />policy for City operations, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to have Clerk send <br />a letter to Milner W. Carley & Associates requesting reimbursement <br />for a double billing in September 1985, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to table the Strehlow <br />rezoning to the June 11 meeting and to have the Clerk check <br />into the road maintenance responsibility to the City of 21st <br />avenue, the responsibility the City would have to secondary <br />owners complaints referencing surrounding industry, and to <br />request Mr. Strehlow's attendance at that meeting, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk will also bring the issue of road responsibility to <br />Planning and Zoning's attention for future reference. <br /> <br />Clerk will send letter on 1987 - 1989 Community Development <br />Block Grants to County commenting the assessment amount of <br />$1,000 being high as compared to amount of grant actually <br />received and possibily a percentage would be more equitable. <br />Clerk will also clarify what that $1,000 is for and what <br />the housing rehabilitation additional administration charges <br />are for. <br /> <br />Clerk will send letter to County referencing ditch cleaning <br />along the County roads in Centerville. Trees are ~rowing <br />up in ditches and sand being spread in the winter 1S <br />accumulating and plugging culverts. <br /> <br />Clerk will check with Building Inspector to see who monitors <br />the installation of a culvert under a private drive, and whose <br />responsibility it is to maintain these culverts. <br />
