<br />Page Three - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 14, 1986 <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to approve the Lion's <br />Clubs use of the City Hall for their monthly meetings providing <br />the City does not incur any legal liability, motion carried <br />unanimously. Clerk will confirm with City Attorney. Clerk <br />will also send letter of confirmation to Lion's Club. <br /> <br />Clerk will send card to Lloyd Welk at St. John's Hospital ~ <br />Maplewood. <br /> <br />Clerk will contact Marty & Maureen Aslesen and Floyd Kruger <br />to meet at City Hall Tuesday night at 7:00 P.M. to tour Inner <br />Park, Carl Eck Park & Baldwin Park warming houses. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Zimny to send Circle Pines <br />Police Chief Ron Nicholas a letter of interest in his Crime <br />Prevention/Key Communicator Program, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Fritchie to appoint Councilmember <br />Wilharber as Centerville's task force representative to the Crime <br />Prevention Program, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Harvey will place some additional trash barrels at the City Park. <br /> <br />Clerk will check with Dan Tourville to see if he would be interested <br />in attending the May 28th meeting at the Lino Lakes City Hall <br />for discussion of County Road 14 improvements. <br /> <br />Clerk will contact Carol Pelton on plants for landscaping. <br />Cost was increased from $200.00 to ~300.00, and some scaling <br />down needs to be done. <br /> <br />Clerk will check with police on need for kennel license at <br />1844 Main Street. <br /> <br />Clerk will send letter to Mr. Barott, 7121 Main Street referencing <br />garbage spilling out of containers littering the yard. <br /> <br />Clerk will send letter to Happy Hustlers 4-H Club thanking <br />them for help with City cleanup. <br /> <br />Clerk will send letter to Cub Scout Pack 432 thanking them for <br />their efforts in cleaning up litter in the City. <br /> <br />Clerk will contact Dean Atkinson, A & B Construction, to meet <br />with Mayor L'Allier when he walks the L'Allier-Houle ditch <br />for a cleaning estimate. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to pay current claims, <br />motion carried unanimously. A copy of receipts and disbursements <br />are attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Wilharber to adjourn meeting, <br />motion carried unanimously.
