<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />Centerville held their regular meeting on March 12, 1986 at <br />City Hall. Mayor LIAllier called the meeting to order at <br />7:00 ~.M. Present: Fritchie, Robischon, Zimny, Wilharber. <br /> <br />Clerk administered oath of office to Council member Fritchie. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to accept the minutes <br />of the February 26, 1986 meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: <br />Station Chief Des Englund mentioned cars were parking on <br />both sides of Brian Drive, and also in the City Hall parking <br />lot during church services. Clerk will notify the police <br />to check on Brian Drive. Clerk will check with Father <br />Zweber to put a notice in the church bulletin. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to approve engineering <br />contract with Maier, Stewart & Associates, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk will continue following up with Mary Ayde at Lake <br />Sanitation on a recycling work plan. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to table address <br />map to allow further research, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Appearance of Jan Apitz to discuss pOlice review board. Mrs. <br />Apitz will get a copy of the old police task force report <br />to the Centerville Council. The Clerk will request Dean <br />Campbell, Lino Lakes Chief of Police, attend the next council <br />meeting. Some items for discussion will be: <br />- Monthly scheduling <br />- Night coverage - # of officers on duty <br />- Backup if someone calls in sick <br />- 14 nights without coverage in January <br />- Officers eating outside the City limits while on duty <br />- Availability of canine unit <br />- Review process of officers <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Wilharber to have Councilman <br />Wilharber order nameplates from St. Paul Book & Stationery <br />not to exceed $8.00 a piece, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk will verify dollar amount of Park insurance coverage <br />with insurance agent. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />Appearance of Gordon Rehbein and Mike Granger to request <br />grading permit for 6805 - 20th Avenue South. They still <br />need written permit approval from Rice Creek Watershed District <br />and Anoka County, a letter of credit for the City and the <br />City Engineer needs to review the application and map. Clerk <br />will put on agenda for next Council meeting. <br /> <br />Clerk will contact Lake Sanitation to arrange for a Spring <br />cleanup in May. <br />
