<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />February 26, 1986 at City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the <br />meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. Present: Robischon, Zimny, <br />Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Wilharber to accept the minutes <br />of the February 12 meeting, Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS - None <br /> <br />Old Business: <br />Appearance of Tom Snell, Anoka County Chamber of Commerce, <br />and John Norlinger, Secretary/Treasurer for the Anoka County <br />Chamber of Commerce. A brief presentation was made on the <br />benefits of joining the Anoka County Chamber of Commerce. <br />Mr. Norlinger related that the Chamber advocates business, <br />economic development, and community support. The annual <br />contribution is $150.00 per year. Motion by Zimny, second <br />by Robischon to subscribe to the Anoka Count~ Chamber of <br />Commerce as a member for 1986, contributing $150.00 for <br />that year, Zimny-Aye, Robischon-Aye, L'Allier-Aye, Wilharber- <br />Nay, Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Wilharber to appoint Carol <br />Fritchie to the open Council seat, Wilharber-Aye, Zimny-Aye, <br />Robischon-Aye, L'Allier-Nay, Motion carried. Clerk will send <br />letters to Carol Fritchie on her appointment, and to the <br />other applicants thanking them for their application and <br />encouraging their continued involvement. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Wilharber to appoint Carol <br />Pelton to the vacant position on the Park & Recreation <br />Committee, Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to appoint Larry <br />Koch as Centerville's representative to the Fire Commission, <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Zimny, second by Wilharber to accept the Nuisance <br />Abatement Ordinance # 6A Summary for publication. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk will check with Terry Mauer, Maier, Stewart and <br />Associates to clarify Section D Termination, of the <br />engineering contract. The council would prefer a 60 day <br />notice as opposed to a 7 day notice as the contract presently <br />reads. Clerk will put this issue on the next agenda. <br /> <br />Clerkwill refer Parking Ordinance #16 to the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission for review and any recommendations to <br />the council. <br />
