<br />Page Two - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 12, 1986 <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to conduct thour <br />interviews with applicants for City Council position on <br />February 24, 1986 at 6:Jo P.M. at City Hall, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Wilharber to submit project <br />request form for Community Development Block Grant Funds <br />for 1986 to be administered as follows: <br />1. Ramps & sidewalks for handicapped & elderly <br />at the City Hall, $2000 <br />2. Handicapped parking signs for local <br />busine sse s, Ci ty Hall & Ci ty Park, <br />J. Contribution to Alexandra House, <br />4. Housing Rehabilitation program, <br />and publicizing that programs available <br />to the residents of Centerville, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />I 200 <br />500 <br />6588 <br /> <br />$ 500 <br /> <br />A public hearing for the administration of Community Development <br />Block Grant Funds in the amount of $9788 will be held February <br />26, 1986 at 6:45 P.M. at City Hall. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to support the League <br />of Minnesota Cities Municipal Amicus Program, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Zimny, second by Robischon to adopt Nuisance <br />Abatement Ordinance #6A , motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmen Robischon and Wilharber will be getting together <br />with the City Employees on proposed review proceedures and <br />vacation benefits. After that time they will bring the <br />proposal back to the City Council. <br /> <br />Clerk will notify the new owners of 1567 Peltier Lake Drive of <br />the history of the yard cleanup problems at that property. <br />This item will be taken off pending action and the City <br />Attorney will be notified to stop litigation. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to amend Ordinance <br />#16 as follows: <br /> <br />Now Reads: No vehicle, except an emergency vehicle on <br />an emergency call, shall be parked between <br />J:OO a.m. to 7:00 a.m. o'clock, and no vehicle <br />shall in any case be parked upon any street <br />in anyone place for a longer continuous <br />period than 24 hours. <br /> <br />Amended to Read: No vehicle, except an emergency vehicle <br />on an emergency call, shall be parked <br />on a street or municipal parking lot <br />between J:OO a.m. to 7:00 a.m. o'clock, <br />and no vehicle shall in any case be parked <br />upon any street in anyone place for a <br />longer continuous period than 24 hours, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />
