<br />Page Four - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />January 22, 1986 <br /> <br />Clerk will turn siren information over to Archie Gay and <br />Dale Larson, Civil Defense Directors for Centerville for <br />further research. They will check into repairing the <br />old siren as well as other avenues to take to begin a <br />civil defense system. <br /> <br />The nuisance ordinance was tabled until the February 12 meeting. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />Firemen have an old safety kit they will donate to the City. <br />It will be mounted by the coat rack in the City Hall. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to have clerk check <br />with the City Attorney for his opinion the the Municipal <br />Amicus Program from the League of Minnesota Cities, motion <br />carried unanimously. This item will be on the agenda for <br />the February 12 meeting. <br /> <br />Appearance of Jan Apitz, resident and business woman from <br />Lino Lakes. She would like to meet with councilmen for <br />ideas on establishing a Police Commission. Councilman <br />Wilharber and Councilman Robischon volunteered. <br /> <br />A Revenue Sharing Budget hearing will be held on February <br />12, 1986 at 6:45 P.M. at City Hall. <br /> <br />PAYMENT OF CLAIMS: <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to pay current claims, <br />motion carried unanimously. A copy of the receipts and <br />disbursements are attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />FIN AL COMMEN TS : <br />Councilman Robischon wished Councilman Ayers luck as this <br />was his last meeting. The rest of the council concurred. <br /> <br />Harvey will fill manholes with gravel as the street is <br />raising. <br /> <br />Planning & Zoning Chairman Tourville advised the Couneil <br />that the Planning & Zoning Commission will be working with <br />the new city planner on Ordinance #4. <br /> <br />Clerk will check with the police on the time Mr. Berg's <br />car was towed. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to adjourn meeting. <br />Meeting adjourned at 8:25 P.M. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />G - <br />,J~~ ~ <br /> <br />Debra Gonsior <br />Clerk/Treasurer <br />
