<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on October 22, 1986 <br />at city hall. Mayor L'Allier called the meeting to order at <br />7:00 P.M. Present: Fritchie, Robischon, Zimny. Absent: <br />Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Robischon to approve the minutes <br />of the October 8 council meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Petitions and Complaint~t <br />Petition received from 24 residents along Peltier Lake Drive <br />requesting "No Parking" signs be placed on both sides of <br />Peltier Lake Drive. Discussion followed. Members of the <br />audience expressed their opinion on the matter: <br />Earl Kruger, 1568 Peltier Lake Drive <br />Mary Jane Lang, 1559 Peltier Lake Drive <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Fritchie to post "No Parking" <br />signs on the lake side of Peltier Lake Drive all the way to <br />County Road 14, as recommended by the Lino Lakes Police Dept., <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, to post "No Parking" signs on the southeast <br />side of Peltier Lake Drive (side opposite the lake side) for <br />300 feet from County Road 14. Motion withdrawn for lack of <br />second. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Fritchie to send a letter to <br />the residents of Peltier Lake Drive from County Road 14 to <br />1600 and 1613 Peltier Lake Drive informing them the council <br />is considering posting both sides of that portion of Peltier <br />Lake Drive with "No Parking" signs and ask their opinions, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk will send a letter to the Waterworks notifying them of <br />the overflow parking on Peltier Lake Drive and that the street <br />will be posted "No Parking". <br /> <br />Appearance of Ted Gonsior, Centerville's cable representative, <br />and Mike Cussick, Cable Administrator. Discussion of Group W <br />ownership transfer. Motion by Robischon, second by Zimny <br />to pass Resolution No. 10 approving the transfer of ownership <br />of Group W Cable of the North Central Suburbs, Inc., motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Appearance of Terry Maurer, Maier Stewart and Assoc. Discussion <br />on preliminary feasibility study for street improvements on <br />Peltier Lake Drive, Mill Road, Center Street and Shad Avenue. <br />Members of the audience expressed their opinion on this matter: <br />Florence Seashore, 1693 Peltier Lake Drive <br />Earl Krueger, 1568 Peltier Lake Drive <br />Mary Jane Lang, 1559 Peltier Lake Drive <br />Motion by Zimny, second by Robischon to hold a public hearing <br />on November 19, 1986 at Centerville Elementary School at <br />7:00 P.M., Zimny - aye, Robischon - aye, Fritchie - aye, <br />L'Allier - aye, motion carried unanimously. <br />
