<br />Page Two - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />September 24, 1986 <br /> <br />for the Street Restoration project for 1986 payable <br />1987 tax levy certification; <br /> <br />- certify the amount of $31,162.21 under Code #818 <br />for Sanitary Sewer Improvement for 1986 payable <br />1987 tax levy certification; <br /> <br />- certify the amount of $150,380 for the City of <br />Centerville 1986 payable 1987 tax levy certification, <br /> <br />motia carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Copies of all resolutions for tax certification are attached <br />to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Clerk will send letter to Park & Recreation Committee, Civil <br />Defense Directors and Centennial Fire District on budgets <br />approved for 1987. <br /> <br />Discussion on snow plowing LaValle Drive and Meadow Lane. <br />LaValle Drive and Meadow Lane are private roads the City <br />has occasionally plowed after a heavy snow storm. The <br />public works department needs direction as to whether or <br />not these roads should be plowed. nle City Attorney has <br />said the City is not responsible to plow or maintain a <br />privateroad, and may incur more liability by doing so. <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to advise the <br />public works department to plow only Centerville's city <br />streets, motion carried unanimously. Clerk will notify <br />residents on LaValle Drive and Meadow Lane. <br /> <br />Clerk will advise the public works department of Mrs. <br />Seashore's letter to be sure the plowing gets done. <br /> <br />:c- <br /> <br />Mayor L'Allier and Councilmen Robischon and Zimny attended <br />a meeting set up by the Anoka County Chamber of Commerce <br />at the House of Chu with representative Joe Quinn and Anoka <br />County Engineer Paul Ruud. <br /> <br />Clerk will send the Centennial Fire District Relief Association <br />bylaws to the City Attorney for review before the City Council <br />discusses its ratificatmn. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to pay current <br />claims, motion carried unanimously. A copy of receipts <br />and disbursements are attached to and made a part of these <br />minutes. <br /> <br />FINAL COMMEN TS : <br />Councilman Wilharber advised the Council he will not be <br />able to seek re-election as the government has ruled it <br />is a conflict of interest with his employment at the National <br />Guard. <br /> <br />Mo tion <br />mo tio n <br /> <br />by Wilharber, second by Zimny to adjourn meeting, <br />carried unanimously.
