Discussion with Mr. Herdina
on the possibility of the City of Centerville proceeding
with a tax increment financing program in conjunction
with the Sunrise Plastics Co. This would entail pledging the
tax revenues that would be generated by the Sunrise Plastics
building from 1988 - 1996. The preliminary figures done
by the attorney show an estimated $75,000 - $85,000 that
could be put toward the development of the Sunrise Plastics
building depending on whether or not the legislature makes
it taxable. There would also be some up from costs to
prepare the contract with Sunrise Plastics estimated at
about $7,000.00.
