<br />Page Three - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />July 23, 1986 <br /> <br />Clerk will include Bill Hawkins, City Attorney in the financial <br />consultant interviews. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to continue with the <br />1987 - 1989 Community Development Block Grant program, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to act on the payment <br />of claims and final comments, adjourn to read infrastructure <br />bond pool agreements and then reconvene to act on infrastructure <br />Financing Program, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to contact Bill Hawkins <br />on tax increment financing for discussion after interviews <br />on August 6th, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk will contact Rod Herdina, Sunrise Plastics, to let him <br />know we are looking into the possibilities of tax increment <br />financhg. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to pay current claims, <br />motion carried unanimously. A copy of current receipts and <br />disbursements are attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to follow up with the <br />building inspector on Twin Lakes building permit, and notify <br />building inspector Twin Lakes capacity signs are down, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />FINAL COMMENTS: <br />Motion by Zimny, second by Robischon to put a load of road <br />base on end of Mill Road and have it oiled, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Orv and Jerome Hughes will cut Royal Meadows park until end of <br />year. Next year will get bids on all parks at once. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Wilharber to adjourn meeting <br />for 15 minutes to review League Infrastructure Financing <br />Program, motion carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned at <br />8:55 P.M. <br /> <br />Motion by Zimny, second by Wilharber to reconvene meeting <br />at 9:10 P.M., motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Update by Dale Larson, Civil Defense Director for Centerville. <br />There are no Williams Pipelines in Centerville. They run <br />about a mile north of the City. In case of emergency, the <br />Fire Department would be the first line of defense with backup <br />from neighboring city fire departments. <br /> <br />During the last storm warning, the Fire Department set o~ the <br />siren. They would like to know if the Council wants this <br />proceedure continued. <br />
