<br />Page two - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />July 23, 1986 <br /> <br />from the curbs on Centerville Road, and the costs the City is <br />incurring to handle these problems, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Zimny, second by Robischon to oil Peltier Lake <br />Drive at a cost not to exceed $500.00, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to enter a maintenance <br />agreement contract with International Office Systems for <br />OUr new copy machine effective when the warranty expires, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />Appearance of Jerry Jolly to request permission to have a <br />softball tournament on July 26 & 27 and August 9 & 10, and to <br />request a 3.2 beer permit for those same dates. There will <br />be 20 teams, 200 - 300 people, and run from 9:00 a.m. to <br />8:00 p.m. on Saturday - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to approve the <br />July 26 & 27 softball tournament with the stipulation they <br />provide 5 satellit~ to the area, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to tentatively approve <br />the August 9 & 10 softball tournament depending on the lack <br />of complaints and problems with the first tournament. Mr. <br />Jolly will contact Mayor L'Allier or the City Clerk for <br />confirmation of the second tournament, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to table the utility <br />rate review until next years Metropolitan Waste Control <br />Commission rates are available, to get an estimate to fence <br />in the lift station off Mill Road and Peltier Lake Drive, and <br />to get an estimate of the cost of lift station motor replacement, <br />to be considered in utility rate review, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilman Wilharber recommended new council members attend <br />the Planning and Zoning meeting in December. <br /> <br />Councilman Wilharber recommended open burning ordinance information <br />be put over cable channel 10. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Wilharber to contact the <br />County by letter to re-paint the curbs along County Road 14 <br />and Centerville Road to facilitate emergency vehicle access, <br />motion carried unanimously. Once curbs are painted, Clerk <br />will contact police to enforce. <br /> <br />First budget meethg to be held August 28, 1986 at 7:00 P.M. <br />at City Hall. Clerk will notify Planning and Zoning and <br />Park and Recreation by letter that their budgets are due by <br />August 27th Council meeting. In future, budgets should be <br />to Council by August 1st. <br />
