<br />CENTENNIAL LAKES POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR <br />DEPUTY CHIEF OF POLICE <br /> <br />. POSmON: Deputy Chief of Police <br /> <br />. SUPERVISOR: Chief of Police <br /> <br />. PURPOSE: The purpose of this agreement is to put in writing the tenns of employment between <br />the Centennial Lakes Police Commission and the Deputy Chief of Police for the Centennial Lakes <br />Police Department. Hereinafter, the Centennial Lakes Police Commission will be called the <br />"Employer" and the Deputy Chief of Police will be called the "employee". <br /> <br />. TERM: The tenn of this employment agreement shall be for one year and shall be for the <br />calendar year 2002, effective January 1st 2002. <br /> <br />. SALARY: The employee's salary for 2002 shall be $ ??? <br /> <br />. INSURANCE: The employee shall be entitled to the same insurance benefits as currently <br />provided to other police department employees for the employee and dependents. This includes <br />health insurance, tenn life insurance and long tenn disability benefits. Dental insurance will not be <br />provided. The health premium cost paid by the employer shall be capped at a maximum of $725 <br />per month. Effective 9-01-2002, the cap will increase to $850 per month. <br /> <br />. CLOTHING ALLOWANCE: A clothing allowance of $500 per year shall be provided to the <br />employee for suitable clothing, whether unifonn or business suits, as required by employee's <br />position. This allowance may also be used for dry cleaning or other clothing maintenance services. <br /> <br />. HOLIDAYS: The employee is entitled to twelve, (12) paid holidays annually. The employee is <br />encouraged to utilize accumulated holidays. <br /> <br />. VACATION PAY: The employee shall be entitled to twenty, (20) days of vacation leave <br />annually. Beginning with ten, (10) years of service, the employee is entitled to one, (1) additional <br />day of annual vacation for each year of service after ten, (l0) years, up to a maximum of six weeks, <br />(30 days). The employee is encouraged to utilize accumulated vacation. <br /> <br />. SICK LEAVE: The employee shall be entitled to receive one, (I) day sick leave each month and <br />shall be entitled to accumulate and use sick leave as provided for within the Department Rules and <br />Regulations Manual. <br /> <br />. GENERAL LEAVE: The employee shall be entitled to all leaves currently provided by the <br />employer to other police department employees, e.g., funeral leave, etc. <br /> <br />. TRAINING: The employer shall allow the employee to attend the annual conference of the FBI <br />National Academy and the FBI LEADS course on an annual basis. <br />
