<br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated she would rather see shorter driveways and <br />would like to see a public road that meets the specifications. <br /> <br />Mr. Quigley indicated he has been trying to make concessions in every direction. He <br />then indicated that the cul-de-sac may give him more trouble than the 33 foot wide road. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated the City specification is set at a 45 foot <br />radius to allow for fire protection and snow plowing. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated that the school district requires bus drivers to drive into <br />the cul-de-sac to pick students up and the buses need to be able to turn around. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson indicated she did not want to approve the final plat unless the <br />streets are changed. City Engineer Peterson indicated that the street could be widened if <br />it is pushed tight against the property line. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated that Mr. Quigley would need to get an <br />agreement from the property owners to allow tree planting on their property for screening <br />because the screening was agreed to. <br /> <br />Council Member Travis commented that the road should be made private and left as it is. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated that there were people from the other <br />association that had concerns and would prefer not to have the street private. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson indicated she was not interested in making any more private <br />roads. <br /> <br />Mr. Quigley asked if Council could give approval contingent upon the roads being <br />reworked to City specifications. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Council Member Nelson, and seconded by Council Member <br />Broussard Vickers to aDD rove the final Dlat for Eal!le Pass 2nd Addition subiect to <br />the execution of the develoDer's contract and construction of the street and cul-de- <br />sac to current City sDecifications. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson asked that Council discuss the petition that was before Council <br />asking that the City take over Ojibway Drive and make it a public street. She then <br />indicated the matter was discussed but no formal action was taken. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Council Member Nelson, and seconded by Council Member <br />Capra to deny the reauest of the homeowner's association to make Oiibway Drive a <br />public street.
