City Attorney <br />Hoeft indicated that if tbere was not an ordinance, the state statute would govern, <br /> <br />Ms, Moore-Sykes indicated that the ordinance states 50% and noted Mr. Thorson had a <br />different city's ordinance that said 10%. She then said that tbe City gets a report every <br />month. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked if any entity in the City can come to the organization for <br />money, <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg asked for an explanation of the 50%. <br /> <br />Mr. Thorson indicated that 80% goes to the players leaving 20% to be used for running <br />the business and taxes and whatever is left the City gets 50% of. <br /> <br />Council Member Travis indicated tbat Council used to get a statement in the packet. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked what the timeframe for remedying the <br />situation was. Mr. Thorson indicated that he intended to have 75% of the money set <br />aside by the time they are back before the City for renewal licenses in June and the <br />remainder of it in September. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked if all the background checks and <br />investigations had been done.
